Anime NYC 2025

Anime NYC is one of the largest anime conventions in North America, bringing together fans, exhibitors, creators, and partners across a multi-day event in New York City.

Aoki Studios served as the official photo and video team for Anime NYC 2025, responsible for end-to-end visual coverage: from pre-event planning, through same-day delivery and post-event recap content.

Our role was to ensure that all official photo and video assets were captured, processed, and delivered in real time and after the event, supporting marketing, PR, and press distribution.

Event Overview

The Challenge

As a large-scale convention, Anime NYC presented several operational challenges:

Tight schedules with no opportunity for re-shoots
High attendee volume across a massive venue
Multiple simultaneous activations, panels, and show floor moments
The need for same-day photo edits and highlight videos for social media and press
A requirement for clean, organized assets post-event

The priority was not just coverage, but reliability, speed, and coordination at scale.

Our Role + Approach

As the official photo and video team, Aoki Studios handled all visual production responsibilities before, during, and after the event.

Pre-production + Planning

Before the event, we worked closely with the Leftfield Media marketing team to:

Align on coverage priorities and key moments
Build detailed shot lists and coverage plans
Coordinate schedules, access, and assignments
Ensure the photo and video workflow was prepared for same-day turnaround

This planning ensured that nothing critical was missed once the event began.

On-Site Event Coverage

During the convention, our team provided full official coverage across the event, including:

Show floor activations and exhibitor coverage
Panels, special moments, and key announcements
Attendee atmosphere and large-scale crowd shots
Brand signage and sponsor visibility

We operated efficiently within live event conditions, adapting in real time as schedules shifted without disrupting the attendee experience or event operations.

Same-Day Asset Delivery

A key part of our role was same-day content delivery.

Throughout the event, we:

Delivered same-day photo edits ready for social media and PR
Produced same-day highlight video reels
Ensured assets were quickly available for press and partner sharing

This allowed the Anime NYC team to publish official content while the event was still live.

After the event, Aoki Studios handled all post-production responsibilities, including:

Organizing and delivering all RAW photo and video footage
Producing a full event recap video
Delivering polished photo and video assets for long-term use

All assets were delivered in a clean, structured format so the client team could easily access and reuse content for future marketing and promotions.
