Cypherpunk Hackathon

The Cypherpunk Hackathon was a private tech event hosted by Solana, bringing together founders, developers, and speakers for focused discussions, collaboration, and presentations.

Aoki Studios was brought in to provide event photography coverage, capturing key speakers and the interactions between attendees in a more intimate, low-profile environment.

The Challenge

Unlike large conventions or conferences, this event required a lighter-touch approach:

A private, invite-only setting
A smaller group of attendees and speakers
An emphasis on authentic interaction over spectacle
Discreet coverage that didn’t interrupt the flow of the event

The goal was to document the event naturally while respecting the tone and privacy of the space.

Our Role + Approach

For the Cypherpunk Hackathon, Aoki Studios focused exclusively on photography, with an emphasis on presence, observation, and timing.
